Hi ST Team,

I am currently using STM32H563ZIT6 and STM32H755ZIT6 in my project. We are now preparing to move from prototype to mass production, with an estimated requirement of ~10,000,000 units per year.

As we transition into production, I am facing some issues and have a few important questions:


1. Industrial-grade reliability & support

Are STM32 devices supported at an industrial-grade level similar to NXP or TI?
Since we are planning large-volume production, I would like to understand:

  • What type of technical support can ST provide during production ramp-up?

  • Is it possible to get a dedicated technical contact or mentor for guidance?


2. Location

I am based in Coimbatore, India.
Please let me know the support timeline and whether any local ST representatives or FAEs can assist.


3. Current issues

For reference, here are my recent queries on the ST Community, which are still unresolved:

  1. STM32H755 end-of-frame detection failing with EventFlags:

Request

Since we are planning a very large production volume, I request urgent support to ensure our design and development are fully correct before scaling.

My expection is that ST is not going to staff your project, this would be the responsibility of your company and that AI coding would not be sufficient. 

Debugging and diagnosing race conditions can be quite challenging and you'd need team members with strong experience in those areas.

A history of high volume can open doors, but prospects less so. Find a sales representative who can handle your account and manage support contacts and access.

Expect to have to do your own work, as any competent company does.

Relying on others to ensure your success is not a recipe for success.

The hardware is solid and well documented, don't expect any issues there.
