It's in the User Manual:

via: https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stlink-v3mods.html#documentation

It is also recommended to connect NRST:

See Section 6.1.3  for the CN5 STDC14 connector pinout;

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.
A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

i have posted some issue regarding STlinkV3MODS, please chk it out. some thing odd type ,but it is reality.

lost the context , thats why reposting the files and what i have done. stlinkV3MODS dont detect the target MCU. pls find in attachment. clone STlinkV2 usb dongle type detected the target MCU occasionally through cube programmer 2.7 ver and stlink utility 4.1.0.0 ver.

Advance thanks.

provide solution. my mcu tm32f103c8 shows 256kb flash memory. but as per datasheet 64kb. so conclusion fake silicon clone,thats why my original stlinkv3mods cant read core id of target mcu?
