Is the STLINK-V3SET still in production? I don't know what's going on worldwide, but no supplier has STLINK-V3SET in stock. Furthermore, any supplier does not know when it will be back in stock, if it will. Thank you

It is not that things aren't being produced, it is that they are immediately sold, or pre-sold, and aren't sitting on some dusty shelf at a retail distributor.

Found a couple of listings on eBay this morning, and bought half a dozen..

We are a very large, very bureaucratic company. We are working with registered suppliers only.

They do not have this device in stock for at least a half year and they have no idea when it will be back in stock.

I'm familiar with the company, want consumer level product/pricing (COTS), but months of paperwork for a handful of devices, and the process repeats in 12-18 months because the consumer level product has done a design refresh, or cost reduction cycle.

You should probably work directly with ST, or their supplier in China (probably WaveShare)

Alternatively, if it is critical, you could probably just manufacture it yourself and licence the design/firmware. Or commit staff to implementing the JTAG/SWD programming protocols to your level of satisfaction. The Flash cell programming is achieved in exactly the same way as a user program would, here with code/data is pushed into RAM and executed by the micro-controller.

The performance of the flash cell programming is primarily dictated by the voltage and temperature. For integrity a SHA-256/SECP192R1 is reasonably robust.

To answer your initial question: The STLINK-V3SET is still in production. All the quantities provided to ST distributors are rapidly sold, so that we are currently working with our subcontractors to increase outputs with new units available in one month.

You may be able to find V2's which may work for you, or failing that, use the programming section of nucleo 64 boards for a V2.
