Hello,
I am looking at the STEVAL-ISB027V1 dev board. I see that it is obsolete. That is fine, I am more interested in understanding if this design could be implemented on 6x independent channels of Tx coils. I want to be able to independently control 6x copies of this circuit but use a single micro. What would you recommend for an application like this?

Welcome @Joe_Nortech143, to the community!
In fact, the STEVAL-ISB027V1 is obsolete, partly because the STWBC used on it is also obsolete. But you can't just simply take 6 transmitters and let them work side by side on 6 coils, because there are interactions to be taken into account.
The Qi standard has evolved considerably since its beginnings, and an in-depth examination would go beyond the scope of this thread. One point in advance: Qi defines several architectures, whereby the types Axx and MPAxx can only activate one coil at a time (several coils would therefore have to be multiplexed), the types Bxx and MPBxx can operate one or more coils simultaneously.
Please understand that STMicroelectronics can only support projects with a certain minimum annual volume. You are welcome to check with your local distributor to see if your project is large enough to support it with hints, software and tools.
Hope that helps?
