A5975D SPICE simulations

Hello,

I'm part of my universities Formula SAE team at The Milwaukee School of Engineering. We design a prototype single seater formula race car with a parallel hybrid powertrain. I was looking at using the product mentioned for power regulation on one of our embedded projects to go onto the car. As part of my analysis for this project, I was hoping to simulate these products with a SPICE simulation software. When I downloaded this spice file for the A5975D, we were not able to import it because it looks like the .lib file is encrypted. I understand this is probably to keep proprietary information about the device hidden from others. It looked like there was a way to import the file into orCAD, however that is not a software we have the resources to access. Is there a way we can import a SPICE file for this device into LTSPICE or NI Multisim? Thanks for your help.

I don't think ST has offices in WI, closest probably out of Schaumburg IL (near old Motorola and USRobotics campuses, and Woodfield Mall)

Perhaps try to find an FAE covering that product space.

Yeah, I suppose this is my best bet. I did open a case on OLS and they were the ones who referred me here to post the question. I'll try calling the office, my parents live by Schaumburg and I know the company that I work for also has a connection to that office.

There's also LinkedIn, and what ever contacts your faculty/partners have with industry.

Generally anyone, business or students, not moving a million units is not on the top-tier support program.
