Equation error LMx35 (LM135, LM235, LM335) Temperature sensor

Hi everyone,

Looking at the Datasheet (DS) of the temperature sensor LMx35, I found that the equation on page 6  is wrong, in the sense that the subindex and '=' symbol are missplaced, and there is no reference of what does each symbol means.

I'm pointing this out since I wanted to use this DS with students.

The right formula can be found in another DS from another manufacturer

Hope this can be corrected soon in the update of the sensor DS

Indeed, looking at another manufacturer's equivalent:

So:

  • VOUTT is the output voltage at temperature T;
  • VOUTTo is the output voltage at the reference temperature, To
