Dear moderator,

We are using str710fz2 microcontroller with 16 MHz crystal.

Please help us to calculate number of machine cycles per second. And how can i calulate delay.

Hi,

Do you means by number of machine cycles per second the MIPS?

Could you please more clarify your question ?

With regards,

The MCU contains complex circuitry to generate system clocks from the external clock input. How you configure them is up to you. Depending on configuration, clock frequencies can vary over orders of magnitude.

Sir ,

Actually we want to generate a delay of a specific time. We cant understand how much is the time taken to execute one instruction.

what is the minimum and maximum time delay possible
