What does it mean CUT?

I suppose is a CPU identification tag, but I'm not sure.

I developing a project with SPC5 studio V.6.0, but I don't understand which file I must include in my project between spc574k_cut24.h and spc574k.h.

I see there are some example for CUT 2.3 and CUT 2.4 but I don't known the differences.

Can anybody help me, please?

Thank you very much.

Best regards

E.

    Hello ,

CUT is an hardware version. (2.4 is more recent than 2.3)

A different hardware can impact the include file (registry file).

a simple diff , you can see the difference in term of IPs or registry.

normally , some basic example should work on the 2 cuts.

    Best regards

    Hello,

thank yuo very much for the quick reply.

But where can I found in the ST documentation, what CUT can I use with my devices? (now I'm developing on SPC574K72E5).

For example, in SPC5Studio I can find two CAN examples, one for CUT 2.3 an one for CUT 2.4. Which example can I use for the SPC574K72E5?

    Best regards

    E.
