Using the pins on the underside that normally dock into the development board, to connect an external mic to the pins in order to get better recording?

Do you by chance have a list of people who might be hired as consultants? I am putting together a functional spec to build a PCB using ST components. I could post on the open forum, but checking first with you if your company had resources for that, or could refer. I think my questions are getting beyond posting in a community forum, and need to hire an expert.
