Can the STEVAL-CAM-M0I evaluation board used together with the VD55G0 promodule? ST's marketing material seems to suggest it can, but looking at the schematics of the STEVAL-CAM-M0I the power rails are turned on in the order VCORE first, then VANA, then VDDIO. However, in the VD55G0 datasheet it is mentioned in section 8.3 that AVDD (VANA in the eval board) has to be turned on after VCORE and VDDIO. Is the datasheet outdated? Other sensors like VD55G1 or VD56G3 do not have any power sequencing requirements.
Thanks a lot!
Michael

Hello @asdfasdf ,
I confirm that the STEVAL-CAM-M0I evaluation board can be used with the VD55G0 promodule. Though you are right, the board does not follow the powerup sequence described in the datasheet. This can very rarely produce an error during the boot stage. This is not an issue for an evaluation product, it could be an issue at industrialization level.
Best regards,
Jean
