Hello everyone,
I’m currently working on a project using the SPC584B70E1 chip and SPC5Studio as my development environment. However, I’ve run into an issue where the “Execute” and “Debug” buttons are grayed out, and I’m not sure how to proceed. After searching online, I found information about the SPC5-UDESTK, which seems to be a USB/JTAG debugger for SPC5 MCUs. I have a few questions about this:
Is it absolutely necessary to purchase the SPC5-UDESTK to enable debugging, or is it possible to use a standard ST-Link for debugging with SPC5Studio?
If I do need to purchase the SPC5-UDESTK, will I also need to buy any additional debugging software, or is it included?
Are there any free options available for debugging? If using ST-Link is an option, could someone explain how I can set it up for debugging in SPC5Studio?
I would really appreciate any advice or guidance on this matter. Thank you so much for your help!
