Hello,
I am trying to debug an example code on a recently bought AEK-MCU-C4MLIT1 Evaluation Board via AEKSMCU-SPC5LNK using OpenOCD. I am fairly new to Embedded Systems and Eclipse Environment so I have just been following instructions.
And things don't seem as straightforward as STM32CubeIDE....
When I am trying to debug the board, I receive the following error on the console.
Open On-Chip Debugger 0.12.0+dev-00318-g0e98d766e (2023-05-17-15:52)
Licensed under GNU GPL v2
For bug reports, read
http://openocd.org/doc/doxygen/bugs.html
Started by GNU MCU Eclipse
Info : Listening on port 6666 for tcl connections
Info : Listening on port 4444 for telnet connections
Error: Debug Adapter has to be specified, see "adapter driver" command
Also, I am not sure whether the Board AEK-MCU-C4MLIT1 is alright or not. Should I expect some LEDs to be Switched ON on the board when I connect the usb or the 12V supply?
I have attached the screenshots of my Debug Configuration.
Thanks,
Vipul

Hey,
I realised I was using AEKSMCU-SPC5LNKU instead of AEKSMCU-SPC5LNK, so I guess I could not communicate with the debugger to the SPC5 Studio. I've ordered the AEKSMCU-SPC5LNK now, let's see whether I would be able to debug the AEK-MCU-C4MLIT1 Board with that using OpenOCD.
Will update maybe in a few days. Thanks!

Hi,
AEK-MCU-SPC5LNKU is for UDE PLS debugger.
AEK-MCU-SPC5LNK is for OpenOCD.
The board AEK-MCU-C4MLIT1 is the correct one.
In attachment a quick start guide on how to setup the AutoDevKit Studio environment to use OpenOCD.
Best Regards,
AutoDevKit Team
