What TIM1 is used for in default configuration on STM32F429I-DISC1 board?

In the STM32CubeIDE project generated by STM32CubeMX for the default configuration on STM32F429I-DISC1 board, I can not find any reference to TIM1 except in the init function, i.e. ITM1 is initialized but not start. What TIM1 is used for?

Thanks for your reply. According to the post you refer to, unlike TIM6 is used as time base, acually TIM1 is not used by Cube framework, is it right?
