Support the adoptopenjdk.net JRE?

Hi all,

Oracle changed the License for Java SE since April. Since then using their JDK requires purchase of a license for commercial use.

Because of that the "Adopt OpenJDK" project is gaining a lot of traction. Eclipse already is working fine using it, but STM32CubeMX is erroring out saying atleast Java 8 is required.

Can you please take a look at supporting OpenJDK?

Hi Dirk,

Fyi, STM32CubeIDE already bundles an Adopt OpenJDK version of the JRE.

About STM32CubeMX I'm a bit surprised since this JRE is also supposed to be supported.

The ReleaseNotes mentions Adopt OpenJDK as an alternative to Oracle provider.

Could you maybe share with us the screenshot or the error and when it happens.
