STM32L1xx ADC Self-Calibration

Document AN2834 suggests that the STM32L1xx supports a self-calibration routine, which I would have assumed was documented in one of the reference manuals. I have had no luck finding any such reference in the manuals, on the forums, or in the supplied CubeMX libraries.

Does anyone have more information on this?
