Question

STM32CubeMX - Power Consumption Calculator - no Peripheral consuption in SMPS mode

Hi there,

I’m working with STM32CubeMX 6.18.1 and try to estimate the power consumption for a STM32H5F4ZJTxQ.

After trying different combinations I found that the consumption of the peripherals is not calculated if an SMPS-Mode is selected in the PowerScale dropdown box.

For example if “VOS0: Scale 0” is selected, the Result shows 27,05mA for the peripherals in my configuration. When I switch to “VOS0: Scale 0/SMPS” and leave the other parameters as before, the Result shows 0 nA for the peripherals.

27,05mA without SMPS

0 nA with SMPS

Am I missunderstanding something or is this a bug in the calculation tool?

Regards, Peter

Hello @PowerStation

Thank you for reporting this issue.

Could you provide an IOC that illustrates the issue in order to investigate further?
