Stm32CubeMX deleted my desktop folders/files

Hello there,

i chose Desktop as the location of my program then generated the code. The code saved well in my desktop but all the desktop files and folders were deleted!!! Even the ones in my Mac desktop although I am using CubeMx in windows 10.

now I have nothing in my desktop but stm files the rest were gone. I even couldn’t find it at the recycle folder.

how to solve this s****y problem and restore my desktop as it was?

I use the las version of CubeMX
