Problem during download - access forbidden. Not able to download cube finder db. How to manually add a MCU library?

Make sure to use CubeMX with admin right.

This is a very strange advice. The finder db is under the user profile directory. CubeMX should never require admin rights (or elevation).

If the machine is under a company management (internet filtering, some "security" software installed...) - ask your IT.
