How to deselect peripherals and middleware from an IOC project

Folks,

I've been asked to take an existing IOC file as a basis for a new project and remove things like FAT, some peripherals etc.

Is there no way to deselect some of these things? You'd expect to be able to click on things, deselect them and recreate the code, but it won't let me do that. Is there some arcane way of doing it, or do you just have to start a new project if you want fewer things selected?

Where are you trying to deselect? FATFS can be removed by unchecking everything in "Mode". Similar for other peripherals.
