How do I make STM32CubeIDE use the latest H7xx 1.4.0 version of CubeMX ?

The version CubeIDE calls only produces HAL code whereas 1.4.0 produces LL code and I'd like to keep the projects all together in the one system.

Edit : I've now found where CubeIDE calls CubeMX and it says it's 1.4.0, but the Project Manager->Advanced Settings still only offers me HAL options on all the peripherals. Any ideas how to make it offer LL ?

I don't have the answer, but this is the same question I asked on May 10th (How to select STM32H7 CubeMX LL drivers).

I’ve had a reply from support, see response below:

“Currently the CubeMX not support the generation LL for H7. We expect it will be present next version. But currently this is not available in even in CubeMX standalone.

The support is planned for CubeMX 6.0.0 release which will be in Week 50.�?
