CubeMX generates virtual folders with spaces in names

I am really trying to report a problem/bug but I could not find straghtforward way to do it on the STM site. So here it goes:

STM32CubexMx for certain object (like USBX) creates virtual folders with spaces in name. These cannot be resolved correctly by STM32CubeIDE (Eclipse) when they are reference links. Project Explore shows folders but with no files and they are not build.

For example:

UX Device CoreStack

UX Device Classes

UX Host Stack

The system the tool run under is Windows 11.

Hello @BMB

I recommend that you try to delete the cache folders under this path: C:\Users\_

I will be waiting for your feedback.

Thanks.

The key is to include USBX stack.  STM32CubeMX v6.18.1 (the animation in About is silly, drop it). SDK is STM32Cube_FW_N6_V1.4.1. Part is STM32N657x0Hx, the board is STM32N657-DK. Generating for STM32CubeIDE (Advanced), FSBL only.

My IDE does not list any files for folders with spaces. (STM32CubeIDE 2.2.0).

This indeed seems to help with the IDE properly finding the referenced files, Thank You!

I also noticed in C:\USers\%USERNAME% file .stm32cubeup

Is this also a cache file?

Is it also under consideration for the problem?
