Question

CubeMX Configuring Hybrid Double Buffer Block Size is Broken with Touchgfx Migration to 4.27.0

Hello,

This is a fairly obvious bug with CubeMX configuration of the ‘Block Size’ for TouchGFX Hybrid Double Buffering.  Normal values are reported as errors but if I change the byte size to <-1, the errors disappear.  The parameter description also reflects this wrong OK case.  See screenshot for picture of bug being described. CubeMX Screenshot

Context:

  • Recently migrated touchGFX from v4.22.1 to v4.27.0 for this project
  • Using CubeMX v6.18.1
  • Configuring project for STM32U5 series (specifically STM32U5A9NJHxQ)

Let me know if further information is required about my project configuration.

Thanks

Hello @deisen

Could you please provide a project illustrating the issue in order to investigate further?

Hello @Souhaib MAZHOUD,

Thank you for your response.  I have limited ability to be able to share project source code.  Would you be able to gain insightful information with just the .ioc cubeMX file?  Or would you like other ST development environment project files as well?  I am using TouchGFX, CubeMX, and CubeIDE.

My apologies for forgetting this, but another note I failed to initially mention is during this touchGFX migration step, I also updated the:

  • cubeMX version for the project from v6.9.2 to v6.18.1
  • The firmware package for U5 Series development from v1.3.0 to v1.9.0

Thanks
