Start a new project usin any MCU set project type to STM32CubeIDE, save the project and try to generate the source code. It fails for me. on Ubuntu 18.04
I don't have an answer, but I am experiencing the exact error. Trying to generate a "hello world" program for a Discovery STM32F407 board. My platform is Mac OS X Mojave 10.14.5, and Java version is 9.0.1, 64-bit. I can't generate files for the STM32CubeIDE. However, I can generate them for Keil v4 and v5, and Makefile (those are all I've tried). Only the STM IDE fails.
