Why does not accept the MCU name?

On CUBE IDE Target Selector, on choosing NEW MCU the selection box do not accept anymore the MCU's name?

The box accept only one letter and jumps to the next box?

I had the same issue that disappeared after an update (I assume).

Did you update until the latest release?

I have seen some complaints on the forum related to the "login feature" added to SMT32CubeIDE. The point being made is that ST might consider focusing on quality of tools instead of adding features of limited or negative added value to the developers. I have no opinion about the mentioned post, but if this behaviour would be caused by ST code, then the point of the post is someting worth reflecting on.

I advise you to uninstall the software and reinstall it again in order to fix this problem.
