Hi, I got a black pill. It says everywhere that to enter DFU mode, you have to keep pressing BOOT0, then press and release RST, then release BOOT0. But every time I do this, Cube IDE says ST-Link is not in the DFU mode, please restart it.

Black Pill is not an ST product, and possibly might not contain a genuine STM32.

You need to contact the supplier or manufacturer for support.

Also, what ST-Link are you using?

For DFU mode you don’t use an ST-Link - the programmer talks direct to the target.

Are you trying to upgrade your ST-Link, or just program your board?

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.
