Open C/C++ perspective when GDB connection lost

How can I configure CubeIDE V2.1.1 to automatically swtch back to C/C++ perspective when GDB connection is lost?

Let me thank you for posting.

STM32CubeIDE does not provide a configuration option to automatically switch back to the C/C++ perspective when the GDB connection is unexpectedly lost.

The automatic perspective switch is only triggered when a debug session is started or properly terminated. 

The behavior of perspective switching can be configured under Window > Preferences > Run/Debug > Perspectives.
