Manual Download and Installation of Device Packs

Hello,

because of a Firewall in our Office we have Problems with the automatic Download of Device Packs for CubeMX / Cube IDE.

Is there any way of manual Download / Installation ?

Best is download from www.st.com.

If L0 serie https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stm32cubel0.html

if F4 serie https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stm32cubef4.html

etc. ...

Then rely on Help > Manage Embedded Software Packages

Almost...the V1.8.0 for my F1 is installed. But must also still install the patch to 1.8.3 and that does not find the 1.8.0 installation. Tried several times to restart...

Be aware firmware pack minor releases are patches only. Means if having 1.8.0 on board and need to get 1.8.3 you have to install 1.8.3 on top of 1.8.0.

Handmade process is obvious let's unzip 1.8.3 delivery with same root folder than your 1.8.0 and accept to override all conflicting files (<=> patch)

Cube ecosystem doesn't care about folder naming but relies on package.xml file at firmware package root
