how to use st link and connect GDB server in cube Ide

 hi, I'm using STM32CubeIDE 1.3.1 and trying to execute some programs. but there's a this message. it seems the problem relay upgrading st link and GDB server but I don't know how to solve this. do anyone have the same problem?

I'm using STM32CubeIDE 1.3.1, F746ZG and MacOS. thank you.

The solution is printed on the screen: You must upgrade the ST-LINK firmware first. There is an upgrade tool downloadable from the ST website. The debugger refuses to communicate with outdated ST-LINK firmware versions.

Thanks for your answering! I’ve already checked it out before but there’re many kinds of st link like st link 004, 007 and so on... so I got much confusing...

I downloaded st link above but this file doesn't work. could you possibly tell me how to execute this file?
