Question

Hi, we have a plan to build up a demonstaration system of our products by using your STM32F46G discovery. My question is about the development environment. For STM32F46G discovery, are these sufficient? 1. ST-LINK/V2 programmer 2. STM32Cube IDE

Hi Tesla,

Thank you for your reply.

I understood I don't need ST-LINK/V2.

How about an IDE for STM32F746G-DISCO? I found the document saying these three IDEs can be used but STM32CubeIDE is not included.

If possible, I'd like to use STM32CubeIDE, and hope this is no problem.

  1. EWARM (IAR Systems)
  2. MDK-ARM (Keil)
  3. SW4STM32 (AC6)

Thank you.

Hi @EOta.1 ,

It is no more recommended to use SW4STM32. I confirm that you can rely on STM32CubeIDE.

In this article, you find a complete answer to the question What are the preferred Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) for STM32 microcontrollers?
