Hi, I had software written for me for a STM32F103C8 processor in CUbeIde vs1.1.0 I need to edit this software and are running vs1.4.2 , but get lots of problems all of a sudden when migrating to the newer version. Please Help!!

The problem is that some of the projects just stop working all together, it compiles without errors, but the oled for instance is not working at all. If I use vs1.1..0 on another pc, all is working fine.

What are you looking for? An older version of the software contemporaneous with your current code/project, or some suggestion how to diff working vs non-working code/libraries?

If the OLED uses I2C or SPI, start with those.

Hi Clive, thanks for your reply. I would like to use the later version of CubeIde but need to know what is the correct procedure to open older v projects into the v1.4.2. I have the v1.1.0 to install again, but would rather use v1.4.2 if at all possible.

What is strange to me was that Ive been using v1.4.2 for about two weeks without issues, I just clicked the "Migrate" button when prompted once to get the old project into the new, but all of a sudden it stopped working. The oled is i2c.

That is why Im thinking I might have followed the wrong way to get the old projects into v1.4.2
