Everything is broken after 1.5.1 update (Also randomly deleting files! Warning!)

It worked fine 5 minutes ago. I was in v1.5.0.

I accepted the update, it installed correctly (apparently not), now I can't compile, create or edit any stm32 project.

All the existing projects show missing builders.

Can't create stm32 project (the option is gone).

Can't open any .ioc file (exception error).

Are your using EGit ?

Best you have to do is to install fresh 1.5.0 then accept update to 1.5.1. Then right time to add extra contributions.

Yes. I tried also that way, deleting everything, installing 1.5.0, upgrading to 1.5.1 and then installing egit.

3 times it crashed again.

At the 4th, it seems it worked this way:

Installed fresh 1.5.0. Opened. Closed. Opened and try to build. OK.

Updated to 1.5.1. Opened. Closed. Opened and try to build. OK.

Installed eGit. Opened. Closed. Opened and try to build. OK.

I have no idea what the bug is. But it seems taking extra care between steps made it work.

Tip: Backup the whole C:\ST folder before updating or installing anything, because it didn't fix when unistalling eGit.

I had to remove everything every time.

Warning! This build erases files!! I've keeping an eye at this since it came out. At first I thought it was me... But it has already wiped off 5 of my projects, being closed!

The first time as I couldn't use eGit at the moment due unknown bug, it got me totally unprepared. Thankfully I recovered everything using "restore from local history".

I don't know exactly how it happens, but if you copy an existing project (copy/paste in the existing project manager window) and work on it, maybe instantly, maybe tomorrow (it's pretty random) when you open again the original projetct, all the custom .c files will be gone, and the generated ones (main.c, etc) will be completely empty.

This never happened on 1.5.0 nor 1.3.0.

Well. Totally erradicating Java and every **ST** file/folder in the hard drive and reinstalling everything, seems to finally solve the problems.
