even after logging in, I get the error pls login to download software package. what am i missing?

First let me thank you for posting.

Could you please try to follow those steps then provide the STM32CubeMX.log:

- Delete user/.Stm32CubeMx

- Run STM32CubeMx 6.9.1

-Click on MyST-->login

-Click on Help -->Updater settings -->Connection parameters --> then check your connection

-Click on MyST-->login
