barely readable black text in dark theme STM32CubeIDE with EGit project tree view

After installation of EGit under STM32CubeIDE 1.11.0 under macOS 11.6.8 I find my project's tree view colors (text labels when not selected) having changed to black. This is barely readable on the grey background of the dark theme look. I couldn't yet figure out which color is responsible for this. Anyone knowing?
