after STM32CubeIDE update today, Nucelo-H743ZI2 cant have firmware updated

Ive been working on a project for the past few months. Today CubeIDE told me there was an update. I download the update and when I went to program my board, it told me it needed to upgrade the firmware. But it cant. Board seems to power cycle, and LD1 blinks slowly, and nothing happens after that. I can power cycle the board, and still use it. I can ignore the upgrade message, and download to the board. But the IDE pesters me about upgrading, and then cant.

I tried just now, using the ST-link upgrade app. Same problem. The board is initially fine. I run this app, and it reboots and the LD1 light slowly blinks. The board works fine outside of this current upgrade exercise

So I tried a different computer, and did a fresh install of CubeIDE on that computer. After CubeIDE updated to 1.4, It was able to upgrade the firmware in my Nucelo. But this is exactly why I dont like to receive IDE updates. This kind of thing really gets in the way and wastes time...
