Hello,Concerning the AN3359, what is the unit of the figure 2 ?Thanks.
STM32CubeWB is the firmware package of the stm32wb series.when i clicked the Get Software Button, the page jumped to the home page.I have logged in to my ST Account.
GSM modem is attached to STM32. Using FTP AT commands I am able to download a particular file from FTP server. Now I don't know where this downloaded file is saved inside the GSM modem. My goal is to transfer that file into STM32 and upgrade the firmware. Can anyone help how to do this???
Hi,I am trying to evaluate Thread connectivity with my brand new STM32WB development kit using Thread_Cli_Cmd example. I connect the board NUCLEO-WB55.Nucleo to my PC via the ST-LINK connector then I run STM32Cubeprogrammer, did a full chip erase and loaded the binary stm32wb5x_Thread_FTD_fw.bin at address 0x0809F000. Then I set the jumpers as per readme.txt in the Thread_Cli_Cmd folder. Then I loaded the pre-built example Thread_Cli_Cmd_reference.hex. Then I unplug the USB cable and plug it back in then I run PuTTY and connect to the COM port created by ST-LINK. I then type stuff but I get nothing back, I was expecting to get the > symbol when I press enter or error messages when I type garbage. I also connected the other USB cable to the USB_USER connector but nothing appears on device manager. Am I missing something?
Do I have to pay something if I want to use a STM32wb-based device and open Thread for commercial purposes?
Hello,I have STM32WB55 Nucleo kit (EPNWB55$CU5) from STM32WB workshop. As I know, it works only with special versions of wireless stack from workshop package.I tried to update USB dongle BLE stack with stm32wb5x_495B_wireless_cryp_BLE_Stack_fw_v1.0.0.bin file from workshop package V2.1, but update process ended with RSS_IMAGE_NOT_AUTHENTIC error. I also tried different stack versions from workshop package and from STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.0.0, all of them returned the same error. How can I update wireless stack firmware, or just return to stock version?

The new STM32CubeMX 5.1.0 do not support STM32WB55 IPCC setting (System Core). Firmware STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.0.0. I can not check the HandsOn's from the STM32WB55 Nucleo Board. The board is listed to the CubeMX.
When we can expect the Segger to support stm32wb?https://www.segger.com/downloads/supported-devices.php
In every example which i have tested after second device disconnection it stops Advertising. After a short investigation i found that aci_gap_set_discoverable waits for hci_cmd_resp_release. I don't know if problem is with stack on CM0 or it is problem in STM32Cube_FW_WB_V1.0.0I need answer ASAP: i have to decide if this Product will be used in our new (quite big) project.Best RegardsWojtek
I am running the Mac_802_15_4 FFD and RFD examples on 2 STM32WB55 Nucleo bords. On Coordinator, the APP_MAC_mcpsDataIndCb function is triggered but don't save the data in the Mac_dataInd_t structure. What can I do to receive data?
Hey everyone,I'm using a stm32wb55 nucleo board. When i'm using ST example about RTC, i have a problem with the accuracy of RTC and i want to know how i can configure RTC for increase her accurancy? I.E.: all of 10 minutes i lose 6 secondsThanks in advance for any help.
Hello, everyone. I'm a beginner in Lora. And I need to program an I-NUCLEO-LRWAN1 extension card on a STM32L073 Nucleao-64 to send sensor data to a RaspBerry Pi gateway. Then I tried the code of the End__Node project but it didn't work. I found this on the Putty terminal:Can anyone help me.
With Cortex M0+ (BLE) running, how Cortex M4 writes data on flash ?The reference manual says during flash writes all acess are denied.
Hi! I would like to build a wireless mesh system for a parking lot. Specifically, I have one border Router (Raspberry with STM23WB Nucleo) and several end devices (STM32WB Nucleo / Battery + Solar) that are located under each car. That means, that the end devices have to pass the message to its neigbors. Will this work? I am currently thinking about the Example Application "Multiboard" from the STMCubeWB SDK as a template.
Hi, guys.Just downloaded the altium designer design file of P-NUCLEO-WB55.https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/products/evaluation-tools/product-evaluation-tools/stm32-nucleo-expansion-boards/p-nucleo-wb55.html?icmp=tt10667_gl_lnkon_feb2019While I was enjoying the layout, I found that there are many pads, instead of vias, connecting tracks or layers.I know that they are physically the same, just curious why use pads instead of vias? I suppose pads are used to connect PCB and footprint, no?below is an example, captured from the design file.does anyone know why?thanks for reading!Zt.
Hello,Once i create a project with CubeMX for B-L072Z-LRWAN1 kit, how i can add I-CUBE-LRWAN libraries externally. Before this project i used ping-pong example in called library. It was divergent for which i want to do. Thanks.
Hello,I am teacher in France and newbe for CubeMX and TrueStudio. if want to integrate the soft en.cube_LRWAN1 in the a Nucleo-L476RG with i-nucleo_LRWAN1. I compile a project with the Nucleo-L476RG start for cubeMx with a solution en.cube_LRWAN1 and in the main the program stop with the instruction: LORA_Init( &LoRaMainCallbacks, &LoRaParamInit);.exists a technique to integrate easily en.i-nucleo_LRWAN1 in a project with a nucle-l476rg?Best RegardMichel Arnaud
I used STM32Cube to generate a project for TrueStudio on the STM32WB.My target is the STM32WB55 Nucleo. But the project will not compile. Other posts say check the project target settings. There is no selection for STM32WB.Do I need to add another support package? If so, how do I do that?
Hello,I choose in board selector to B-L072Z-LRWAN1 kit and create a project. But i cannot reach radio modules in TrueStudio, but only hal files. Should i add files myself, if so which files. Thanks.
I am currently trying to establish a simply communcation between two B-L072Z-LRWAN boards. For starters I wanted to set up the SPI interface on the STM32 to communicate with the SX1276. I generated code using cube MX by selecting the used board and writing GPIOs seems to be working. However i can not get the SPI to communicate. I tried reading the RegVersion to verify the communcation but all I get back is 0x0. The code for reading the register is listed below. uint8_t addr = 0x42 & 0x7F;//0b01000010; uint8_t tx_dummy; uint8_t rx_data; //sending address HAL_GPIO_WritePin( RADIO_NSS_GPIO_Port, RADIO_NSS_Pin, 0 ); HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive( &hspi1, ( uint8_t * ) &addr, ( uint8_t* ) &rx_data, 1, HAL_MAX_DELAY); HAL_GPIO_WritePin( RADIO_NSS_GPIO_Port, RADIO_NSS_Pin, 1 ); //receiving data HAL_GPIO_WritePin( RADIO_NSS_GPIO_Port, RADIO_NSS_Pin, 0 ); HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive( &hspi1, ( uint8_t * ) &tx_dummy, ( uint8_t* ) &rx_data, 1, HAL_MAX_DELAY); HAL_G
We use B-L072Z-LRWAN1 (Murata TypeABZ) dev board, where we were able to set-up clock sources to use HSI (@32MHz with PLL - HW_SetHSEasSysClock(void)) instead of HSE during Sigfox transmission. From the firmware perspective, everything is fine, but we were unable to receive data (Sigfox infrastructure), while the same HW with HSE is OK.As the sigfox stack is closed, we don't know if we can do more...What is the reason behind HSE usage? Is it the hard-requirement, or not? Is it possible to set-up HSI somehow?
Dear,I’m working with a B-L072Z-LRWAN1 Discovery Board and AT_Slave sample code of CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V1.2.0.I being able to JOIN to a Gateway, but when I try to send a frame to the Gateway with command AT+SEND= ... , the most of trials I get an AT_ERROR even if the equipment is joined. Also I tried to send each 5 second the command AT+SEND … and for my surprise, only one of these commands is accepted with “OK? (and received as well on Gateway) approximate each 150 seconds Does anybody why? Also I tried to deactivate the Duty cycle restriction with AT+DCS=1 with identical result. The complete sequence is:AT<CR><LF><CR><LF>OK<CR><LF>AT+JOIN<CR><LF><CR><LF>OK<CR><LF>JOINED<LF><CR>AT+NJS=?<CR><LF>1<CR><LF><CR><LF>OK<CR><LF>AT+SEND=02:Hello World<CR><LF><CR><LF>AT_ERROR<CR><LF>AT+SEND=02:Hello World
After seeing the STM32WB55 series, i want to shift , but it don't have zigbee till now but they mentioned as coming soon? So, will they update it over the internet or using any software? Will it inter-operable with Digi Xbee s2c/Pro module?
