Hello,RM0434 Rev 6 talks for 41.5.6 AP identification register (AP_IDR) about Reset value: 0x2477 0011 (AP0), 0x6477 0001 (AP1)I see0x8477 0001 for AP1. Does that decode to r0p7 or to r1p0 or to something else?
Hello there !When I use Monitor RF to upgrade firmware(0x7000 offset on CPU1) and wireless stack (0xF000 offset on CPU2) trough OTA : It works.But when I want to upgrade (or just rewrite the same version of FUS) trough OTA at 0xF000 on CPU2 : it doesn't works... After upgrading, it seems the board is blocked, and it's impossible to discover it... Why ?Thanks in advance,Matt

Hello.I'm using a custom PCB with the STM32WB50 controller. I think I successfully upgraded the FUS from version 0.5.3 to 1.0.2 and finally to 1.1.0 (when I read 0x20030030 I get 01010000). Then I tried to install the BLE light stack as described in the Release Notes of the STM32CubeWB framework. But I'm not sure if this was successful because I get some error messages during fwupgrade.File download complete Time elapsed during download operation: 00:00:27.389 RSS_GET_STATE_COMMAND status : 0x0 RSS state : FUS_IDLE Error : FUS_NO_ERROR RSS_GET_STATE_COMMAND status : 0x0 Firmware Upgrade process started ... I'am using STM32WLE5JB with LOWPOWERMODE_STOP(0,1,2) to deacrease power consumption. Although I configured LPTIM with LSE for 2 sec period to wake up, device doesnt exit from stop mode. I tried LPTIM with LSI the result was same. Hello,One of our product is equiped with an early stage STM32WB55 version called 'cut 2.0'.I would like to update the copro wirless binary version to either stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_full_fw or stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_light_fw recent version like v1.8.0.Do you know if v1.8.0 is compatible with 'cut 2.0' and if not what is the most recent version I could update with?Thanks a lot.
Hi, Would anyone have advice or example of how to do Packet Filtering based on Preamble Start in the I Cube LRWan V1.3.1 package using the B-L072Z-LRWAN1 project. Thank YouRegards
HelloThis is my first time using the community. I don't understand how to use the communityLet me ask you a question.Currently, I am checking the reception of IEEE802.15.4 on the board of STM32WB55 Nucleo Pack using the sample Mac_802_15_4_FFD.Stm32wb5x_Mac_802_15_4_fw.bin Ver 1.8 is written to CPU2. 30ms TM_Delay () after the sequence in the main loopIs put in. Also, in APP_MAC_mcpsDataIndCb (), we only toggle the LED.In this state, when the transmitting side continuously transmits at intervals of about 500ms, it is received without problems even after about half a day, but when the transmitting side continuously transmits at intervals of 10 to 100ms, it is received after several hours. ButIt will stop. This phenomenon will occur no matter how many times you go.When I checked the details, the IRQ interrupt (IPCC_C1_RX_Handler) from CPU2 did not come in.If you know why the IRQ interrupt from CPU2 does not come in if the transmission interval is shortCan you tell me? Also, is there a wo
HelloWe are currently using sample Mac_802_15_4_FFD to verify IEEE 802.15.4 transmission on the STM32WB55 Nucleo Pack board. The protocol stack is stm32wb5x_Mac_802_15_4_fw.bin V1.90.I have sent data (MAC_MCPSDataReq) that requires ACK (ack_Tx = 0x01) from STM32WB55 to Dongle (manufactured by another company), but the status of APP_MAC_mcpsDataCnfCb () is 0xE9.When I monitor the packet using a sniffer, Dongle returns an ACK, but the STM32WB55 retransmits 3 packets. Why doesn't STM32WB55 recognize ACK? In addition, Dongle has received the transmitted packet without any problem.The communication distance is about 50 cm. The procedure for initializing the Protocol Stack is the same as the sample code, and the PAN ID is set to 1. In addition, Dst Address specifies the MAC address of Dongle.If you do the same for another company's MCU (protocol stack) in the same environment, the ACK will be recognized properly and the packet will not be retransmitted.Originally, the PAN ID communicates wit
Hello!I have created a new project based on the ST example BLE_HeartRateFreeRTOS. I made the comparisons between both projects and added what was missing in my project. I think that I have copied everything that I should but the advertising doesn't start. The program doesn't achieve the function APP_BLE_Init . It should propably be called by the task ShciUserEvtProcessId = osThreadNew(ShciUserEvtProcess, NULL, &ShciUserEvtProcess_attr); but it doesn't happen. When I pause the debugging the program goes to function vPortValidateInterruptPriority . Could someone help to solve this issue?
Hello,when generating the code by CubeIDE, the RTC cannot be used with LL drivers in user's application program. It must be used with HAL drivers, since the functions "HW_TS_Init" and others of file "hw_if.h" need "RTC_HandleTypeDef".These functions generated by CubeIDE should also use LL drivers.Best regardsPaul
I have set the TIM2 with the following code: __HAL_RCC_TIM2_CLK_ENABLE(); htim2.Instance = TIM2; htim2.Init.Prescaler = 0; htim2.Init.Period = 80; htim2.Init.RepetitionCounter = 0; htim2.Init.ClockDivision = TIM_CLOCKDIVISION_DIV1; htim2.Init.CounterMode = TIM_COUNTERMODE_UP; HAL_TIM_PWM_Init(&htim2); TIM_OC_InitTypeDef tim2OC1; TIM_OC_InitTypeDef tim2OC2; tim2OC1.OCMode = TIM_OCMODE_PWM1; tim2OC1.Pulse = 20; tim2OC1.OCPolarity = TIM_OCPOLARITY_HIGH; tim2OC1.OCFastMode = TIM_OCFAST_DISABLE; tim2OC1.OCNPolarity = TIM_OCNPOLARITY_HIGH; HAL_TIM_PWM_ConfigChannel(&htim2, &tim2OC1, TIM_CHANNEL_1); tim2OC2.OCMode = TIM_OCMODE_PWM1; tim2OC2.Pulse = 40; tim2OC2.OCPolarity = TIM_OCPOLARITY_HIGH; tim2OC2.OCFastMode = TIM_OCFAST_DISABLE; tim2OC2.OCNPolarity = TIM_OCNPOLARITY_HIGH; tim2OC2.OCIdleState = TIM_OCIDLESTATE_RESET; tim2OC2.OCNIdleState = TIM_OCNIDLESTATE_RESET; HAL_TIM_PWM_ConfigChannel(&htim2, &tim2OC2, TIM_CHANNEL_
For our senior design project, we're trying to pair our created phone app (android) with the STM32WB55. Unfortunately, the WB55 only bluetooth pairs with apps created by STMicroelectronics. How do we use our app to connect to the WB55 without having to use the ST bluetooth apps?

Hi all,I need a dual bank firmware update to meet some requirements. I have a STM32WB55 with 1MB of flash which is seperated in 3 sections of 300kb (ble, appliciation and an update stack) + bootloader. I can do a firmware update and now im trying to speed up the transmission process. Currently im sending the binary to the update stack. My ble service sends 4 bytes header with 16 bytes of data and directly safe the data on flash using HAL_FLASH_Program and a semaphore (required for bluetooth connection see ble_RfWithFlash). Because programming flash is pretty slow, 5.5 ms for double word, so > 11ms per message, it takes a long time to transfer the entire binary...What would be a good way to improve this timewise? I came up with a two solution but dont know what is the best approach and what the advantages and disadvantages would be.Create a buffer of one page and use fast program to program one entire page instead of 2 double-words each time(i do have enough free ram)Use data length
When creating an BLE router application with CubeIDE, CubeMX does not generate the IPCC IRQ handlers "IPCC_C1_TX_IRQHandler" and "IPCC_C1_RX_IRQHandler".Is there some "hidden" checkbox I missed or has it been forgotten in generation engine?
Hi.Using STM32CubeProgrammer I load last stm32wb5x_BLE_Stack_light_fw.bin, but when after that I try to run command -fwdelete, I get an error : "FUS_NOT_RUNNING".I attach log file becose Idont understand whot is this.But me application work fine and I see that stack is a last version.Please help whot may bee .I send call:STM32_Programmer_CLI.exe -c port=usb1 -fwdelete -vb 3
Here is the demonstration linkhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqAFVi16l5E&t=7s
i would like to know what this register to occupy the bluetooth five in un mouse.but in the datasheet is not specified
Hello,I am trying to use the STM32WB55 Nucleo Pack to develop a BLE application.Does anyone know what these constants represent ?/** * There is one handler per service enabled * Note: There is no handler for the Device Information Service * * This shall take into account all registered handlers * (from either the provided services or the custom services) */ #define BLE_CFG_SVC_MAX_NBR_CB 7 #define BLE_CFG_CLT_MAX_NBR_CB 1This code is extracted from the client project but it is the same in the server project.Thank you for your reply!
Hello,is there anyway to get an event or interrupt, after the transmission is finished of each packet from Advertising. I know this depends on Intervals Min and Max buti don't want to make a timer to syncronize an interrupt with the intervals. Thanks.
HelloLet me ask you about the Shared area of SRAM2a of STM32WB. The Shared area of SRAM2a defined in Nucleo\Applications\Mac_802_15_4\Mac_802_15_4_FFD project is 16KByte. Is it possible to reduce this area? Is there any problem with making it smaller? I searched a lot, but couldn't find an article about the capacity of the Shared area.The RF stack uses Stm32wb5x_Mac_802_15_4_fw.bin Ver 1.9.The final MCU to be used is STM32WB50CGU5, but since the capacity of SRAM1 alone is insufficient, I would like to use SRAM2a as much as possible.
Hi,Because is quite frustrating debug from smartphone, there is a cooked firmware to transform the usb dongle in usb adapter? This could allow me to debug the characteristics from linux. Of course before to ask I already discovered the entirely sdk without success. If nothing exists a common usb adapter bluethoot 4.0 is enough?Thanks
