How does FCC certification work for STM32WL?

Will ST Micro pursue that certification on the module/SOC level? Or will vendors have to pursue that certification independently/at the device level?

There's talk of module level implementation, but if you're building a chip level product with an intentional radiator, I think you definitely get to own the FCC requirements for that.

Hi @JGree.16 , @Community member ,

Nucleo has been FCC certified, but indeed, stm32wl soc mounted on custom board shall be re-certified.

AN5566 here describes regulatory specification per region including FCC.
