Failed to download ST software with Firefox on Win 11

Has multiple failures to download HAL package of about 100 MB to 500 MBfrom ST web.  Firefox said failed, at about 20% progress bar.  Saw same on multiple different packages.  Seem it timeout on a non-fast internet.

Some package can choose to download from ST or Github (that work fine).  However, a lot of package do not have choice of Github.

TIA

Hello @David_ ,

Thanks for reporting this. We checked your cases and seems that you face issues due to slow internet connection. If the mobile network signal is lost, the download will fail. If the PC loses the hotspot connection, the download will fail.

All this is normal. We tried to reproduce the conditions by simulating a Regular 4G/LTE connection on Firefox and no issues were detected.

The only recommendation I have at this point is to use a stable internet connection and everything should be fine.

Let me know if you still have any questions.

Regards,
Lina

Hello @David_

Can you please share more data (screenshots,...). I've been able to download the STM32CubeIDE using Mozilla Firefox.

Best Regards.

Many thanks.  After previous failure, I updated firefox and rechecked it says latest. I click the "get latest" icon.  Firefox show a normal updating progress bar for about 30 seconds then it showed failed.  As it is (2) in file name, I did it three times and same result.  This message is limited to FIRST three photos.  I shall post the "Firefox Updated" in reply.  On Win11.

This is the link.
