Where is the "check for updates" menu in TouchGFX?

Hi!

I am unable to find this feature inside the TouchGFX app... Does this mean I need to uninstall and the reinstall to get the last version?

Hello Southbranch,

Currently, there's no update button in TouchGFX Designer. We'd like to let the users decide which version they'd like to use. Moreover, some project created with an old version of TouchGFX Designer might not be compatible with the newest version.

You don't need to uninstall it, you can have multiple version of TouchGFX Designer installed on your machine, most of our customers work like that. But I understand your point of view, as we recommend people to use the latest version of our software. I'll discuss it with my team and let you know if I have more information about this feature.

Hmm.. I am in the prototyping phase and prefer to work with latest versions of all the software in the STM32 toolchain. I guess I need to continue to uinstall prior to install every latest version.

I hope you will solve this hazzle in the near future
