Trying to connect a camera via DCMI and then send the images via UVC protocol out the ST-link/v2USB connector of a nucleo board to a PC - so the board looks like a webcam. Is this possible and are there any examples of this out there to start from.

Definitely not going to get UVC from ST-LINK's USB connection

Don't recall ST providing examples, perhaps check GitHub, or with other similar devices with open source code/drivers.
