STM32F769I ,Conversion from BMP to JPEG

We are using STM32F769I eval board for storing the image to USB using the example "Camera_To_USBDisk" , when we are trying to convert the image format from BMP to JPEG . The image does not open . We are following the JPEG frame format for conversion . Could you share any examples of bmp to jpeg conversion .
