STM32CubeMX and STemWin

Hi,

I want to evaluate using STemWin in a new project but for the life of me I can't figure out how to use STM32CubeMX to generate code with STemWin. From what I understand it wasn't included but now it is. The download page says it's now included. I see the libraries in the Middleware folder but no way to enable it in a project.

Am I missing something or do I need to import it afterwards in the IDE?

One side question. I was going to use the STM32F411RE would it be worth upgrading to STM32F429? I can't seem to find the difference with the 429 vs 439 either.

2-What do you need exactly as feature to help you to select the suitable MCU?

I think I am going to go with the F429. I need a good graphical interface, sd, reading i2c sensors, and USB serial.

But on this page there no indication that we can generate MX project including STemWIN library.You have to do it manually.Please refer to this [DEAD LINK /public/STe2ecommunities/mcu/Lists/STM32Java/Flat.aspx?RootFolder=/public/STe2ecommunities/mcu/Lists/STM32Java/STemWin%20and%20STM32CubeMX%20project%20integration&currentviews=934]post you find an official response from our MX team about STemWin and STM32CubeMX integration. 

You can find some working example with STM32F429 device under the STM32F4 cube firmware package: 

STM32Cube_FW_F4_V1.10.0\Projects\STM324x9I_EVAL\Applications\STemWin

Thanks you I will give that a try. Are there plans to add it into the Cube generation? 

I also found the UI builder is buggy. Can't add the Menu element without it crashing.
