Combine font files for TouchGFX (western + chinese)

Hi,

Does anyone know how to combine western + chinese + japanese fonts into one file for TouchGFX designer?

My problem is that I want to use Source Sans Pro font, which does not have chinese, japanese etc. I want to combine Source Han Sans with it, which has chinese and japanese.

Thanks!

Hi @Tuoman

I'm combining fonts with a software called FontForge (https://fontforge.org/en-US/)

Any tutorial about this?

I can import a font, then tried Element -> Merge fonts. Unfortunately the program will crash.

Is this how you merge fonts?

For me it's working with these steps: https://superuser.com/questions/490922/merging-two-fonts

Ok thanks, that is what I tried also, FontForge crashes 50% of the time, sometimes succeeds. Need to solve issues with Fontforge or my PC. 16GB RAM should be sufficient. Also tried to reduce font em-sizes.
