Question

Any one can help me to share the code of JPEG Decoder using SD card . currently i am using bmp decoder with Sd card and it's working but i need move to JPEG decoder

Hello @MMARI.1​,

You should check the Hardware JPEG codec peripheral AN4996, there is a list of JPEG decoding examples in both STM32CubeH7 and STM32CubeF7 MCUs packages.

hi, i have migrated to F7 series now but before moving to Hardware JPEG decoder please suggest me of following .

  1. software BMP decoding or Hardware JPEG decoding which is faster ?.
  2. BMP or JPEG which one used for icon or menu picture in GUI ?.
