A colleague updated the HP Win-8 Laptop he was using to Win-10.

The STLink Utility v2.7.0 had been working prior to the update, but would not see any STLink after the update (2 dongles & a genuine STLink were tried).

The Windows Device Manager showed the STLink as present but said driver not recognised (or something).

Uninstalling & re-installing the STLink Utility v2.7.0 (from the original installer download) fixed it.

Others have reported a failure, Win8 compatibility mode reportedly fixed the issue.
