What's ETH_PPS_OUT in STM32F4x9 MAC.

In ethernet MAC block, Port PB5 is assigned as ETH_PPS_OUT. I searched for a while and can find the usage of it. Is it MII_TX_ER?

It's a timing signal PPS (Pulse Per Second) and part of the

support.

It consequently has no relationship to the PHY
