We're programming STM32F302 chip and getting an "unable to get core ID" failure. We've used the following hardware successfully numerous times on various PC's with success. Any ideas why this isn't working? Hardware setup in detials.

These are details of other peoples products, not anything you're doing on your board.

Typical reasons for failure, incorrect or incomplete connectivity of debug pins, including power, ground and reset. Connection under reset needing NRST to be connected.

Issues with power supply, connecting VDD, and VDDA pins, correct capacitors and voltages observed at VCAP pins (if applicable). Check voltage measured on NRST pin.

Orientation issues, where Pin 1 is misidentified.

Pins used for debugging reconfigured, or placed in low power modes.

SWCLK too fast for core.
