Generally, STM models with numbers differing by 10 differ by absence of crypto hardware modules in the lower-number model, otherwise they are identical.

​I am sure without looking into the DS that both 'F413 and 'F423 have several timers each with several channels capable of PWM, certainly much more than 2 or 4, both.

Jan - thank you for your reply and suggestion.

I looked further into the AES capability (Advanced Encryption Standard). This encryption is a key product requirement, so the lack of AES capability precludes choosing this part.

I will look for other STM32F423ZHJ6 that include AES.
