Question
The device may be damaged if the BOOST bits are set to '1' while the voltage is > 2.7V
- I am using an STM32H743IIT6.
- In SYSCFG_PMCR, the BOOSTE bit states that '1' must be set if the voltage is below 2.7V.
- So, which voltage is it—VDD, VDDA, or some other voltage? I’m analyzing some documentation on an ADC, and it mentions those bits.
- Is there any issue with setting BOOSTE to '1' when the voltage is greater than 2.7V? Could long-term operation under these conditions cause damage to the chip?
