Storage time limitation for MCU STM32F051C4T6

Hello.

As the MCU is very difficult to purchase this moment, we have a stock with about 2000pcs for STM32F051C4T6, however it was manufactured in 2013. It was 8 years in the warehouse, can we use it for mass production if the soldering process is not an issue? Is there any limitation on MCU storage time? On the other hand, our product need to be used for at least 7 years, whether the 8 years storage will impact to our product life cycle? Thank you.

You can use the devices without any problems. Long time storage does not affect the function or reliability, but in the worst case the solderability.

Good luck!

You need to talk to your board house about this (too).
